I’m not a photographer and I don’t pretend to be one. But it’s no secret I love photos and love taking them.
As Save Your Photos Month winds down to a close, we had fun recording a mini podcast with 4 quick tips on taking better photos with your smartphone.
You know the “love the one you’re with” mantra about using the camera you have with you. For most of us it is almost always our smartphone.
One of my favorite tips I’m revealing here is about turning your smartphone sideways and taking horizontal photos (and videos!).
Can relate to working with a client’s large digital collection and having the majority of photos being vertical? Don’t get me started on the challenges of album design with 95% vertical photos. Leave a comment below and tell me I’m not alone in my frustration with this!
If you are a photo organizer and didn’t have time to squeeze in a Save Your Photos event, our podcast is a perfect way to share some great tips about photos with your clients so please share away in your social media, newsletters or email your client with the podcast link.
They’ll thank you for reminding them to turn their smartphone camera sideways – I know my client did!
